The performance explores identity through the character of a clown who does not exist as a singular, closed whole, but is continuously built through encounters with others. The clown “plays” other clowns – taking on their traits, movements, and fragments of character – and from them creates new, hybrid figures. In this way, new scenes are also born: one gives rise to the next, and the next to another, in an unending process of transformation.
At the heart of the performance lies the idea that no one exists in isolation. Every identity is shaped through relationship with others, through exchange, influence, and mutual permeation. Just as colours complement one another and reveal their fullness only in relation to each other, so too do people become clearer and more complete through their differences.
