The play speaks about the everyday life of each of us, but in a comical clownish way. This would not be anything special if this were not non-verbal theatre, so even though almost no words are spoken, each viewer understands what is being said with their bodies, connects with the scenes in a way that suits them best, that is, in a way that resonates with them best…
The great success of the play is also evidenced by the long-lasting applause from the audience after the premiere and the first repeat performance that took place on October 6th, as well as by the critics who unanimously praise the play, making comments such as:
“In addition to Đuričić and Shiner, in a play that leaves no one without a smile, Iva Peter Dragan, Bojan Bak, Iskra Jirsak and Nikolina Majdak also star. This sixsome takes us on a journey through several fantastically conceived miniatures that we can watch separately, but also as a whole. Skillfully conceived, and even more convincingly played (it’s no wonder that Shiner adores his actors), the play abounds in clownish tools practiced to the last detail.”
Ante Peričić, Novi list, 6.10.2022.
”The scenes are “wicked” but instead of pitying the “damaged”, they make the audience laugh because the performances of the “six magnificent fools” (as they describe themselves) are fantastic.”
Olga Vujović, Wish.hr
”Each actor plays their role brilliantly and hilariously. Skillful stage movements and great facial expressions. They demonstrate a high level of professionalism, managing to be “easily” pushed into a whirlwind of situations.”
Gabrijela Brletić, 6.10.2022., Jutarnji list
“Shiner elevates physical theater to a special level of movement and humor – in his choreography, clowning becomes an infectiously humorous sophisticated art of storytelling relying only on the performers’ bodies and their skill: the six of them manage almost without words not only to tell the plots that make up this crazy rollercoaster of a show, but they manage to do it humorously and expertly.”
